Kathleen L. Baker, Ph.D., CFMT, LBT

Dr. Baker has been a certified Christian Marriage and Family Therapist since the year 2000 and is also a Licensed Belief Therapist. She is an ordained minister and was a co-founder and Associate Pastor at the Church of the Crossroads in Laredo, Texas from 1983 until 2004. Dr. Baker is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC),
the American Society of Christian Therapists (ASCT), as well
as a Doctoral Diplomat of the American Society of Christian Therapists. She holds a Bachelors, a Masters, and a Doctorate in Restorative Justice.

Dr. Baker was also a Youth Pastor and Founder and Director of “South Texas Alliance for Youth” (STAY), a drug and negative peer prevention program designed to reach youth in public schools throughout Texas. Dr. Baker has received numerous awards and recognition for her work within the Texas Criminal Justice System for developing and implementing curriculum helping former convicts in their reintegration into society. She has functioned as a Financial Administrator for 2 non-profit organizations.

She has been married for over 25 years to Jerry Baker, an ordained minister who also co-founded and served as Associate Pastor of the Church of the Crossroads in Laredo, TX for nearly 21 years. She is a mother of two children, Christopher and Melody.

Dr. Baker has conducted seminars entitled, “Forgive-Forgiven”, helping those in need of overcoming the traps of unforgiveness and bitterness.
